Processing and Dispatch times

Please allow 1 to 7 days either prepare your order and/or make your products, plus shipping. This allows for dehydration time which can take anywhere from 8 hours to 32 hours and sometimes more. And if it's an accessory, it may take us time to cut and sew the item.

For bulkier orders like 500g/1kg, please allow 2 to 10 days to process this is because we my need to make a special order from our supplier to get the raw ingredients.

Our orders are shipped Monday to Saturday. However, we will attempt to ship orders as soon as possible. We will contact you if we are expecting delays.

We usually have to make your order so it will take a day to get to the shops to purchase raw materials and process it (for pet treat products). While fabrics, we do keep a few sizes on-hand but, at times we do make them when orders are placed. We keep small quantities of fabric.

Please consider the time to process and make your orders from a minimum1-3 days.

We use Australia Post Standard and Express Postage. Shipping times can depend on Australia Post.

We have a free shipping option for orders under $20 but, please note it is untracked with a low minimum spend of $3. This is sent via a regular letter, according to their website it can take generally 3 to 7 business days. We review this postage method monthly and happy to offer this option if our customers are receiving their orders.

However, depending on what you order the letter size can be large and may not fit into a small letter box. Therefore, you may need to select the Standard Postage option and/or with signature.

For Australia Post Standard Post shipping, it depends on your location:

• 2 to 4 business days in New South Wales
  
• 3 to 6 business days for all other states. 

We recommend visiting their website for estimates. 

We have capped shipping rates for both Australia Post Standard at $8.95 and Express Post $16.95 to streamline the shipping process for orders under 5kg.

We use shipping that will leave parcels without signatures. However, you can opt for a signature requirement during shipping for standard post.

Please note that there may be postcodes that Australia Post does not cover, please refer to their website for details.

Shipping Rates:

Our shipping rates are a flat rate of $8.95 or $16.95 Australia wide for orders up to 5kg. 

Free Shipping for orders under $20 via Australia Post Untracked with a low minimum of $3.

Free shipping for orders over $49 via Australia Post Standard up to 5kg.

Paid Express shipping for orders over $150 via Australia Post Express up to 5kg is capped at $25.

If you continue to make purchases that's over 5kg online, we will contact you to to arrange the payment for shipping before processing your order.

PO Boxes, Parcel Collect etc – Please choose Australia Post

Express Post

You can choose to select to pay for Express Post however, it is an additional cost. Express Post is set up with authority to leave without signature. Australia Post has a next day guarantee, however, please check their website for further information on this.

We have found that Express Post may be worthwhile considering for interstate orders as sometimes Standard Post can take 7 days to reach you (not inclusive of our processing time).

If you are in urgent need for an order to be sent for some reason please reach out to us first via online chat via the website, email, phone or our social channels. We do keep smaller packaged products in stock as we're often preparing for market days.

Free Local Home Delivery

We may at times offer free local delivery where possible or in place of Australia Post services. Contact us to check this option via our online chat, email (info@tonkacrumb.com.au) and social media channels.

The advantage of this is that we can get the item quicker to you than posting it and sometimes its a personalised and hassle free solution.

Free Home Delivery on Our Market days:

If you order a week before the Berry Markets we can offer free home delivery from the corridor between Fairfield to Berry on the way back from the market day in the afternoon. These markets happen on the 1st Sunday of every month except for February.

If you order a week before the Pepper's Manor markets we can offer free home delivery from the corridor between Fairfield and Sutton Forest in the afternoon. These markets happen on the 4th Saturday of every month.

In the event that we are not able to make these market days or unable to do the delivery we will use Australia Post.

Free Public Pick-Up

We have added an option to collect your orders free via public pick-up in Sydney.
